Today, implantology offers the patient many solutions for replacing natural teeth roots. From the replacement of individual elements to whole arches (full arch), through intermediate operations, many different prosthetic solutions can be adopted, because dental implants are a solid base on which to construct a fixed prosthesis or anchor a denture permanently. As a result of advances that have been made in this area, it is now possible to obtain a replacement for one or even two entire dental arches, even in a few sessions, reducing treatment time to a few days (immediate loading). There is software that can assist in the programming of implantology (computer-guided implantology), supporting it from the planning phase up to surgery, through the use of custom templates that enable implant-prosthesis surgery to be performed safely, efficiently and quickly for both completely edentulous and partially edentulous patients.
