This implant is available in cylindrical and conical versions, both of them can be used in most surgical situations, with the exception of the GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration) operations with simultaneous insertion of the implant where a cylindrical shape is most suitable, and in situations with reduced apical space ( e.g. the apex of converging teeth towards the implant site, the oblique oral wall of the mandibular body) and the split crest operations where the conical shape presents undoubted advantages compared with the cylindrical shape. The threading of both types produces an optimal primary stability in all bone conditions and a considerable long-term stability after osteointegration. The utilization of Elisir implants is suitable both in flap and flap-less operations. The hexagonal internal-geometric connection makes the prosthetic phase simple due to the pick-up type of transfer. An important characteristic of the Elisir line is the optimum esthetical result which makes it particularly appropriate in the rehabilitation of the frontal sectors. They are also indicated with the use of bridges on implants.
